Latest: Bing Gets Integrated Into Hotmail
by admin on Jul.09, 2009, under Uncategorized
Bing, the buzzed search engine from Microsoft is leaving no stone unturned in growing its search market share and giving more pains to Google, the main rival in front of Microsoft in Search Business for years.
Last month, Bing.com had countless one-on-one comparisons with Google and Yahoo! and one month later, it is well proven to most of the all those skeptics that Bing.com is beating both Google and Yahoo! in many regards, although search share will take its own time to grow.
This month’s big move from Microsoft related to Bing is its integration with the most popular email service on web today, Hotmail. From now onwards, close to 350 Million Hotmail users will be able to insert maps, movie listings, restaurants, videos, images and business listings, all courtesy integrated Bing search.
The step can really bring up Bing search share as Hotmail population is a country of its own and more awareness(don’t forget tens of millions of marketing budget, reserved for Bing) will only help Bing grow its search market share.
